Movement in Nature
Landscapes are more than still life images - trees bend, dust blows, clouds travel. These images are a search for ways to express that through painting styles and techniques.
As a child I was introduced to the works of Canadian artist Emily Carr. She had a way of imbuing a painting with life so you could see the spirit of the settings she painted.
This is my inspiration for this series of images.
